We went to one of the zoo’s special events and had a really good time. The setup was cute and fun, and the staff were friendly, which always helps. It did get crowded and some of the lines were longer than we expected, but that’s kind of the tradeoff with popular events like this. If you go in knowing you may have to wait a bit, it’s still a nice outing...

I started by checking indyzoo.com before we went, mostly trying to figure out tickets and where everything was, and then once we got there I kept thinking how friendly everyone was. Like, the animals were great too obviously, but the staff really stood out. A woman near the entrance helped us with the map and didn’t make us feel silly for being confused, and later another worker was joking around with my kids while we were waiting. It was busy, so I kind of expected people to be rushed or short, but nope. Everyone we talked to was patient and genuinely nice. It just made the whole visit feel easier, which is a big deal when you’re out with kids. We left in a good mood and I’d definitely go back.

Once we were inside, the food was actually decent for a zoo. The kids were happy with the usual chicken tenders and fries, and I was glad I could grab a coffee without having to wander all over the place.

The prices are definitely on the higher side, but that’s kind of what I expected. I’d love to see a few more healthier choices, but overall I was satisfied and would use the site again before visiting.

We literally spent most of the day at the zoo, so it definitely felt worth the money. The kids had a great time, getting in was smooth, and I’d use the site again next time.

Pretty clean visit overall. The place looked taken care of, which was nice. Bathrooms, though. They had a noticeable smell.

I went with my kids last weekend, or maybe it was the weekend before, the days have been blending together. Overall it was a decent trip. The kids liked watching the orangutans, and the dolphins were probably the highlight for us. But some of the other exhibits felt a little small or kind of bare, and there were a few animals we could barely see because they were hiding or the glass was dirty. We still had an okay time, but for the price, I think I was expecting a bit more.

I went to the zoo on a weekend parking wasn’t as much of a headache as I thought it’d be. The lot was close enough, and the signs were actually clear, which I appreciated because I don’t have the patience to circle around guessing where to go. Leaving got a little crowded and slow, which was annoying, but it wasn’t terrible. Overall, good experience — I just wish the lot had a bit more room.

We had a good time with the animal encounters, and it was definitely fun to see them up close. I just felt like things moved a bit quickly, and I would’ve appreciated a little more time or guidance to feel like we weren’t missing anything. Overall, it was okay and still enjoyable, but a more relaxed pace would’ve made me feel more comfortable

We had a really nice day at the Indy Zoo. The website made it super easy to check the hours and grab tickets ahead of time (which I always appreciate), and once we got there everything went smoothly. The animals looked well cared for, the staff was friendly, and the kids had an absolute blast. The food was a little expensive (not exactly a surprise at a zoo), but overall it was a great visit

We had a really nice day out at Indy Zoo with the kids. It’s easy to get around, which I think other families will appreciate, and the kids really loved the dolphin show and seeing all the animals. The food was a little on the expensive side and some of the lines got long later in the day, so I’d say plan ahead for that. Overall though, it’s a fun spot for a family outing and worth a visit.

I went here with my wheelchair on a day when I was already running a little late, so I was really hoping things would be simple. Overall, the wheelchair access was easy, and the staff helped me quickly when I needed it, which I appreciated a lot. A few paths felt a bit tight to get through, especially when other people were standing around, but it wasn’t a huge problem. Good experience overall...

I used Indy Zoo while planning our visit, and it did have the basics I needed, which was nice in a “glad this exists” kind of way. The map and animal areas were there, but I had to poke around more than I expected just to figure out the best route.
Some parts of the site were easy to use, and others felt like they were trying their best, especially on my phone. It wasn’t awful by any means, but it could definitely be cleaner if you’re just trying to find things quickly and move on...
